I also offer maternity coaching and a spot coaching service, which is an on-demand, flexible and cost-effective approach to coaching, aimed at supporting individuals at all levels, company-wide, whenever and wherever it feels most beneficial.
Access to one-off or limited, 90 minute one-to-one coaching conversations can go a long way towards helping employees - and freelancers - feel more supported, more engaged and more of a sense of well-being, especially during times of stress and change.
Spot coaching is a particularly useful and proven tool, for bolstering confidence, resilience and for fostering an increased sense of individual ownership and accountability.
Please email me for more information or to set up a call to see whether spot coaching could work for your company.

The ICF definition of coaching is ‘partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal & professional potential’.
Clients come to me to untangle their thoughts, gain clarity, and make positive changes in their lives.
As your coach and thinking partner, I will accompany you on your journey towards attaining a healthier and far more helpful mindset. I will be your impartial sounding board, your cheerleader and your accountability partner. I will encourage you, support you and challenge you in equal measure. I will hold your vision, keep track of your goals and celebrate your wins. But in the end, your relationship with yourself and how you respond to life is down to you. No one and no ‘thing’ can do the work for you. You have to want this. And you have to do the work.
Unless you’ve engaged me in a consultant capacity (consulting is not the same as coaching) - I won’t be advising you. I’m not leading your life and I won't be making your decisions for you. But once we’ve committed to work together, I consider myself your coach from the get go and my (virtual) door will be open to you.
I coach remotely via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, Facetime, or we can simply talk on the phone. It is also possible to have face to face sessions in my coaching cabin in Hove if you are local - or at your offices, wherever they may be - which would cost more to reflect my travel and time away from my desk.
Meetings take place at regular intervals, in most cases fortnightly, for an hour each time, initially over a period of three months. Often clients wish to continue their work with me for a year or more – consistently, and/or at intervals.
Please note that confidentiality and discretion are always guaranteed.
My fee is determined by your remit and how much and how often my time is required.
The initial consultation is on me.
The purpose of this 30 minute meeting is:
Please email me at sam@coachingfirst.co.uk and I will send you my availability.
Imagine what you could achieve if you had a dedicated, impartial, professional thinking partner by your side. Whose job is to be there for you, focused on you, giving you undivided attention and honest feedback with no hidden agendas.
Someone supportive, collaborative and committed to bringing out the best in you; who champions your personal growth, challenges limiting beliefs and celebrates your triumphs alongside you.
